Opening Soon in East Hartford Connecticut

For those that have tried PCBC beer over the past few years and supported us with positive and honest feedback, we have some exciting news to share! Paddle Creek Beer Company has set up shop in East Hartford in a 1700 SF facility which will be comprised of a 900 SF brew space and an 800 SF Taproom. We have a new 7BBL system with a cellar capacity of 1,750 barrels of beer per year.

We have been very busy with the demo/reconstruction of the building, assembly and commissioning of the system, submittal of the permit applications, and cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning. We have received our brewers license from the ATTB and we are now approved by the state to brew and sell our beer! Our tap room and patio still need some work and we will concentrate on those areas once we better understand the social distancing requirements of the state as they continue to roll out. Until then we will open with can releases and announce these releases via several social media outlets. We brewed our first batch of beer on June 11th and that beer was Lawn Racer, our clean and crisp Kolsch style ale. We used the harvested yeast from Lawn Racer to make Hop Mower on June 29th, which is our double dry hopped Kolsch Style ale. It is a light NEIPA inspired ale and ridiculously refreshing. Our 3rd brew just finished on the week of July 10th and will be our highly sought double dry hopped Citranade. We plan to then keep these beers in rotation and then will roll in our other seasonal offerings like Red Maple Tap, Smooth Like Papa, Silence of the Pumpkin, and our experimental series The Thing 1,2,etc… We hope to collaborate with our customers, experience this journey together and jointly develop beers that express the community of beer we build together.

Cheers,

PCBC Crew
